My Magellan 4250 Gps will not sync with my phone.?

I synced my phone with my gps but after i took it out of range i tried to re-connect the two and now the pairing screen won't stay open. Its an iphone. The gps won't search for the device. The screen closes as soon as I bring it up.

1. Going to need a lot more info here, Like what kind of phone? OK thanks for the update. Are you trying to use this as a hands free device for making calls with your phone or are you trying to get GPS data to your phone? iPhones can not use GPS data across bluetooth.
2. Does your phone need to be outside the vehicle while you sync for better cell connection first, and still within a short distance of your gps head? Try taking the battery out of the phone for a minute, then returning battery and trying to re-sync then. Battery is relatively full? GPS plugged in etc?can you reset gps?
