magellan gps accessories

I need help with my magellan GPS?

I have a magellan mastro 3225 and each time i think im turning off the GPS by pressing the power button, im actually putting it in sleep mode so my power gets wasted right away. how do i properly turn it off? im tired of the battery dead everytime i want to use it.

1. Try holding the off button and count slowly to 20 and the unit should shut down all the way. Good luck
