magellan gps accessories

I have a GPS question

Hi, I have a Magellan Roadmate 800 GPS unit and I am planning to use it while boating. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can download any marine maps that can be used on this unit? If that is not possible, can I use this unit as is on the water? Thanks.

1. I am sure you can as I see they have those units installed even on Jet Ski boats. The satelittes see water and roads.
