Do any Magellan portable GPS units have predictive text?
Not sure if its called predictive text, but its along the same lines as what most cell phones do.

- Yes, mine does have it, but it's not like on a phone. On a Magellan GPS unit, when you start entering text, it "helps" you by highlighting the next letter and removing some letters from the screen keyboard and then showing the list of suggested entries. Actually. you can type just a couple of letters and push "enter" and get a list of suggestions. The more letters you type, the shorter the list. So, it's like a "predictive" text, but not like on the phone. I have a Magellan RoadMate 760 and very happy with it.
