Magellan RoadMate 300?

My RoadMate 300 wasn't working corretly so I tried to reinstall the same firware version again and I guess I corrupted the software. Magellan want's $144 for it and they said I might be able to fix it. How do I fix it if I can't even turn on the machine? Thanks, Rom
