- The Garmin Nuvi series is almost always selected as best in head-head reviews. Some of it depends on which features matter most to you (blue tooth, speech recognition, traffic info, etc.). CNET and Consumer Reports agreed.
- I would have to say TomTom, because i have recently purchased one, and i didn't want anything fancy, but it covers North America, and it talks to you as your driving, and you have no monthly fees to pay, and can also update it, by using a p.c I know there are more expensive models out there, but i only payed $199.99, for mine at future shop, and i first heard of that brand, because i know alot of people that drive truck for a living have that brand, and they recomended it to me. I hope you find the model that best suits your needs.........Curly
- i have a nuvi 350 and it is awesome.but between those two i would go with tom tom.
- garmin has the most detail and advanced routing programs, magellan is next, tomtom is down there-their maps arent quite great for the US yet but great for Europe. if you want a good basic GPS Garmin Nuvi 350 is good http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000BKJZ9Q?tag=dietcentral-20&camp=0&creative=0&linkCode=as1&creativeASIN=B000BKJZ9Q&adid=02KCMQFZ7FW4Y1RSPZQH& if you really mean price isnt an issue and want all the goodies: mp3 player, multiple point routing, bluetooth, 1 yr free traffic update. etc... go for the Garmin Nuvi 680 http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000MF4N42?tag=dietcentral-20&camp=0&creative=0&linkCode=as1&creativeASIN=B000MF4N42&adid=0YEREX8D6ZCMTCBVXD69&
