magellan gps accessories

What are your opinions on an in-vehicle navigation system? Which is the best for under $500?

I am looking to purchase a navigation system for my car. I only want to spend (at the most) $500. -What is a good brand? -What kind do you have and do you like it? -What are some nice features to look for when buying a navigation system? -How exactly does loading the maps onto the system work? I noticed that a lot of them take SD memory cards. So do I download the maps and info to the SD card and then plug that into the system? This will be my first navigation device, but I consider myself to be pretty computer and technical literate. What brands do you think are better and why? -Garmin -Viamichelin -Nextar -Magellan -Whistler -Lowrance -Tomtom -Pioneer -Cobra -Uniden Thank you so much for your assistance!

  1. Buy the Gps Navigation System Called Tom Tom, or Buy A boost Mobile Phone for 39.99, buy minutes 20.00, buy All Sport Silver GPS for like 18.99 or somthin one of two of these Possibilities sould resolve your problem, Fast...
  2. go with a company called Mio..its a small, lightweight, white colored unit that has a built in mp3 player...its only around $200-250 so ull have money to spare..these days u really dont need to spend 500 to get an awesome nav system..if u wanna go with something a lil better and slight more expensive go with the magellen or tom tom :)
