How do I make my Magellan Maestro 3100 turn off automatically when I turn the car off?

I just got a Magellan Maestro 3100 and on my old navigation system (the TomTom) there was a feature that the TomTom would turn on and off automatically when I turned my car on and off. Now with my Magellan Maestro 3100 it will turn on automatically when I turn the car on, but it stays on when I turn the car off. Is there a way to make it turn off when I turn the car off? If anyone could help me that would be great.

1. I just got the Magellan 3100 about 3 days ago. For the price so far it was great. I am not sure that you can do this with the Magellan. This is because it has an internal battery that charges as you have it on the car. I would say this is a feature not a disadvantage. Anyways its not so hard just to power it off. (if you dont know its on the right upper hand side. Good luck
